Camellia Nieh is a multimedia artist whose work spans pottery, photography, visual art, theater, dance, acrobatics, and music. As a Japanese-English interpreter, Camellia is deeply inspired by the minimalist, delicate and organic aesthetics of Japanese artistic traditions. Born in Israel, she began their journey in ceramics as an apprentice at Totzeret Mitzpe in the desert village of Mitzpe Ramon. Through both traditions, her work is highly influenced by nature: water, desert, sky, earth, and living organisms.
